The Volunteer Well is a non-profit charity organization (Registration Number: 77243 5947 RR0001) with the following charitable purpose:

To address and prevent specific problems faced by women, LGBTQ++, marginalized people in financial need, new immigrants and Black, Indigenous and People of colour families facing disadvantages, such as poverty and unemployment by providing programs beneficial to the community that are charitable at law, such as job mentorship workshops and health resources, that teach a variety of life skills as well as integration into Canadian society to help them become active members/volunteers of their community.
To relief conditions attributed to being aged by providing a variety of programs that will help alleviate social isolation and loneliness.
To address and prevent specific problems faced by children and youth by providing a variety of programs that will assist with overall development, teaching life skills and helping become active members/volunteers in their community.
And to do all such things as are ancillary and incidental to the attainment of this charitable purpose.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge the relationship that the First Nations, Inuit and Métis across Canada have with the land all Canadians live on and enjoy. There are many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit people from across Canada who have lived on and cared for the land from time immemorial. We stand with all Indigenous peoples, past and present, in promoting the wise stewardship of the lands on which we live. We recognize that we must do more to learn about the history and current situation of Indigenous people so as to better understand our roles and take responsibility towards reconciliation as treaty people, residents, and caretakers.
